I will be off to the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees tommorow morning, so technically the posts for the next week will not be for cape town, but Cape Town Area. Oudshoorn is a mere 4 hours drive from Cape town (2 and a half for Ronald in his new Hyundia) and the change in climate and vegetation is remarkable different. I will be keeping you posted daily. No Post

I'm sorry. my plans for the day was simple. Go to the traffic department, pay my license and renew my drivers licence, take some pix and post it on the blog. Surprise. I stepped out of the traffic department 15h20. An entire day of being sent from pillar to post. I will post some really good pix during the weekend. The worlds largest ocean liner docked in Cape Town harbour this morning. What a sight. It is really worth making the trip to town just to see this. She will be leaving again tomorrow at 18h00. Please click on these images to enlarge them.

I popped into the Spier Contemporary Art Exhibition today in the City Hall and I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this to anybody. Remember, be open minded and the best part is it is free.

Finally - Back in the Game. My daughter is home and healthy.

Another great day in town. On a beautiful day like this it is easy to forget the struggles that homeless people have to deal with every day. Winter is coming and the life will get really tough for these people. It just made me realise once again how important family and a support structure is in life. It is so easy to lose everything if you have no one to help you.

I have to start of by saying sorry. These are not new photos. My daughter was admitted to hospital this morning and I could not take any new photos today. I have therefore decided to post some of my "best of" photos from last year. This will not be a regular occurrence, but due to necessity. When I started out this blog I was bored and wanted something to challenge me. I can honestly say that it is no slowly consuming me. I cant wait to get out in the morning.
